BILL KOCH RECEIVES A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FROM TNS SERIES.
Bill has been with Panther for over 10 years as part of our promotional staff and R&D department. He won the first ROAR nationals for 1:10 scale electric short course truck in 2009 in Omaha at Hobbyplex Raceway. Bill is always the first person at the track to offer help with set ups on your car especially with the younger racers.

Panther Sweeps the Podium in Florida
Panther drivers take the podium in 4wd Short Course at SCRC for round 4 of the Chaos on the Coast point series. Team driver Anthony Nicotra took first, David Iler took 2nd and Jessica Iler took 3rd for a sweep by Panther in Florida this weekend.

Moore and Samuelson TQ and take 1st place at the March Madness Race
Congratulations to Bobby Moore and Mark Samuelson for taking TQ and 1st place at the March Madness Race at The Pit in South Carolina in 4wd Short Course and 2wd Short Course respectively. Both drivers were on Super Soft Raptors in the mains, great job guys.

Amezcua joins Panther Tires!
Panther would like to announce that IFMAR World Champs “A” main finalist Travis Amezcua has signed with Panther and will be our new R&D manager. Travis is a seasoned racing professional and we look forward to working with him in developing new tire designs for Panther.
New Panther Team Manager for Australia and surrounding areas
Darren Lord has been chosen to be the new Australian team manager for Panther Products. Darren has been racing R/C cars for 5 years now and won the Australian 4wd SCT AE masters, 2wd Stock Buggy AE masters and 4wd stock buggy AE masters classes in 2013. We look forward to having Darren as our team manager in Australia and his leadership in that part of the world.

Panther Team driver Darren Lord takes 3 x TQ’s and 3 x wins with slicks and rattlers over the weekends comp.
Saturday was buggy day and with a wet track early slicks were the tyre to be on but once the track dried out later in the day it was the rattlers that proved to give the winning edge for grip and consistency in both 2wd&4wd stock buggy.
Back there Sunday for truck day and with 4wd SCT it was slicks all day long the track was moist and nice and traction rolling was on the cards with the amount of grip the panther slicks were producing.
If you are racing on a damp indoor clay track be sure to have a set of Panther slicks in your tyre bag.

Zayas wins Awesome RC Fall Series on Panther Tires!
Panther Tires team driver Jose Zayas wins the fall series at Awesome RC, in Fredericksburg, VA. Jose took 1st place with his Tekin powered TLR 3.0 eBuggy and Maxy powered TLR 3.0. During the competitive 5 race series Jose ran a combination of Panther Tires on DE Racing wheels to keep up with the changes in weather and track condition, and ensure the wins.
Series winning tire combinations included soft and super soft Raptors with Orange CC foam in nitro buggy, and soft Rattlers and Raptors with Orange CC foam in eBuggy.

“The Series” is a 6 Race series that hosts some of the fastest drivers in the Midwest. With 200+ entries at each race, there is a ton of close racing in each and every class. “The Series” events are held at some very nice tracks, all with very different surfaces. Stephansen and Panther win Sonora Shootout!
This past Saturday Sonora RC Raceway hosted the first annual Sonora Shootout. The layout looked amazing with great flow, and it was all designed by Mychael Amos.
Panther Tire factory driver Derek Stephansen would TQ the Pro2 SC class early on in Q1 and Q2. He would be qualified 6th in b 2wd Mod buggy after battling some technical issues. Come main time, the B-main for buggy would be first, and Derek would go on to win fairly easy with a lap lead over the field. This would put him 9th on the grid come main time. The first A-Main would be Open 2wd SCT. Starting 1st on the grid Derek knew he had to keep it on all four wheels. Stephansen would slowly build a lead up and hold it for the 8 minute A-Main to make him the 2013 Sonora Shootout Champ in Pro2 Mod SCT running Panther Rattler Sc’s, stuffed with orange CSF foams mounted to DE Racing wheels on his SC10.2.
Next would be the Mod Buggy A-main. The tone would go off and we would all go racing into the first turn. Unfortunately a pile up mid pack would leave Derek stranded with nowhere to go. Now be nearly a lap down with lap times in the low 15 to mid-14 second range, Derek would put his head down and drive the wheels off my Yokomo to finish 2nd in the main! Derek chose Rattler 2.0’s in rear and Bobcat 2wd buggy fronts in soft compound to pull of this remarkable result.
Panther Tires win TCRC Points Series Title!
The 2013 TCRC Racing Club’s points series has come to an end. After months of racing, approx. 55,000 laps (almost 6000 miles on the track’s layouts) and almost 200 individual drivers, Panther Tires Factory Driver Daniel Holloway brings home the Pro4 SCT Series Championship.

Panther Raptors in super soft compound with orange closed cell inserts on DE Racing Trinidad wheels never came off his truck throughout the season at this track. Holloway said, ” I never had to take them off. They held up throughout the day, week after week, even through the track changes when the dirt got tilled up, these things would hook up without fail. Thanks to Panther Tires, DE Racing, TCRC Racing Club, and the drivers that drove all year.

Sonny O wins Midwest Nitro Series Championship with Panther Tires
Panther Tires factory driver Sonny Ochoa raced in the Midwest Nitro Series finals at River City Raceway in Peoria IL. It all came down to this race, and Sonny would come home winning the Pro Truggy Championship! Sonny would also place 2nd in Pro Buggy.
Sonny chose SS Raptors on the Truggy with yellow inserts and SS Raptors on the the Buggy with orange inserts.
